Sarah E. Phillips

Sarah E. Phillips is an associate attorney with the firm and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2017. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Phillips worked in the legal field for over 15 years, gaining a strong legal foundation. Ms. Phillips received a Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, and Paralegal Certification from Marist College in 2008, where she was also an active participant in the Emerging Leaders Program. Ms. Phillips was selected to be a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma (International Business Honor Society) and received the Sigma Alpha Pi Presidential Letter of Excellence (National Society of Leadership and Success). While working as a Paralegal, focusing in the areas of real estate and corporate law, Ms. Phillips completed the 1L program at Elisabeth Haub School of Law and, in 2013, was approved to complete her legal studies as a Law Clerk pursuant to Section 520.4 of the Rules of the Court of Appeals of the State of New York in order to sit for the Bar Exam. Thereafter, she worked for three years as a Law Office Clerk where she acquired invaluable knowledge and experience in a wide range of legal issues. Upon her fulfillment of a Law Office Clerkship and subsequent application to the New York State Appellate Division, 2nd Department, she was certified to sit for the Bar Exam in February, 2017 and was duly admitted as an attorney and counsellor at Law in New York State on June 14, 2017. Since joining our firm, Ms. Phillips continues to excel in a wide range of legal practices including insurance coverage, medical malpractice, personal injury, Labor Law and real estate.
